Scope and Purpose

This privacy policy governs the processing of personal data by Weg mit Dem! (hereinafter “Provider”) in connection with the website wegmitdem.ch and all collection, transport, and disposal services in the Greater Zurich area.

Data Sharing and Processing

Data is only shared with contractually bound processors (hosting, payment, disposal, accounting providers) in accordance with Art. 9 DPA.

Authorities receive data only if legally required.

Data Transfers Abroad

Transfers outside Switzerland/EEA occur only to countries with adequate data protection or based on standard contractual clauses (Art. 16 DPA).

Cookies and Tracking

On first visit, a cookie banner appears; non-essential cookies are set only after consent. Cookies can be deleted or blocked via browser settings at any time.

Retention Period

Accounting data: 10 years
Pickup photos, log files, chat history: max. 12 months
Data is deleted or anonymized once the purpose is fulfilled or legal retention expires.

Data Security

TLS encryption, access restrictions, firewalls, regular backups, and privacy-by-design/default measures are in place to protect your data.

Data Subject Rights

Under Art. 25 ff. DPA, data subjects have the right to access, correct, delete, receive, or object to the processing of their data.

Requests must be submitted in writing to the contact address in section 2 and will be answered within 30 days.

Reporting Data Breaches

In case of high-risk breaches, affected individuals will be informed and the incident reported to the FDPIC (Art. 24 DPA).

Changes to this Privacy Policy

The Provider may update this policy at any time. The version published on wegmitdem.ch applies. If no written objection is received within 30 days, the updated version is considered accepted.
